The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) was founded to improve the housing sector’s response to domestic abuse through a national accreditation framework and best-practice standards. Recognised in statutory guidance under the Domestic Abuse Act, DAHA helps housing providers take a proactive, survivor-centred approach to identifying abuse, supporting victims, and managing perpetrators.
DAHA also influences national policy through its Housing and Domestic Abuse Policy & Practice Group—ensuring survivor voices and housing expertise shape lasting, systemic change.
On this page, you'll find DAHA’s policy statements, consultation responses, and updates on key legislative developments—highlighting how housing can drive forward system-wide reform.
