The accreditation framework focuses on 3 areas:
Infrastructure:
Considers the internal foundation and structure of the organisation, including policies and procedures relating to domestic abuse, upskilling staff around domestic abuse and multiple disadvantage, and improving monitoring and recording processes on case management systems.
Coordination:
Focuses on how an organisation works in partnership internally with colleagues and externally with multiagency partners when responding to domestic abuse. We also look at how domestic abuse information is shared with staff and service users, to ensure everyone who comes into contact with the organisation is clear on what support is available.
Response:
Looks at how the organisation responds when they become aware of domestic abuse, focusing on risk assessment and risk management for both survivors and perpetrators.
